About Ms. Wawrzyniak...
Hello!
I am Lynn Wawrzyniak. 2021-2022 is my 26th year teaching here at NBCS! I absolutely love it here! For many years I taught first grade. I spent a few years flip-flopping between first and second grades. Then, taught second grade for many years. Currently, I am a special education teacher. I work with students from a variety of grade levels. I am excited about joining in on classroom instruction and providing support in a variety of classrooms. I also work with some students in small groups, reinforcing skills such as math, reading, and writing.
Before teaching at NBCS I taught in an integrated pre-school (much like ours here at NBCS), was director of an after school program, taught Kindergarten, and spent one year as a classroom paraprofessional. I have a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities and Reading and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I hold State of NH certification in general special education and elementary education.
Our school is special. It is engaging and exciting - a place that loves learning and growing. As my own three children grow, I have loved sharing the NBCS school experience with them! This is the first year in a l-o-n-g time that I don't have one of my own children with me at NBCS.
Outside of school, my favorite thing is spending time with my children. I like to get messy, be silly, and have FUN! I enjoy working outside in the yard/garden, taking a walk, reading, playing games or even digging in the sandbox! Newfound Lake, up north, is my absolute favorite place to be! Sometimes you may find me out and about in town or helping out at the Community Church or Recreation Department events. If we cross paths, make sure you stop and say "Hello!"
